Center for Nonprofit Management is committed to enhancing the nonprofit community through consultation services, classes and workshops. To effectively represent its professionalism, CNM needed to reevaluate its visual identity.
We worked with CNM to freshen up the logo and identity system to demonstrate the organization’s services and mission. Through a brand review, surveys and research, it was confirmed that CNM holds a high level of awareness among Nashville nonprofits because of its consistent programs and services. Therefore, some aspects of the logo, such as the acronym and the orange and blue color palette were maintained in the logo redesign. However, other components of the design didn’t project the solid, professional image of CNM and were redrawn.
The end result was an identity system, that included corresponding designs for CNM’s “Bridge to Excellence” conference and “Salute to Excellence” awards that connected to the main brand. Brand guidelines were distributed to staff so that ongoing materials could be created with adherence to the new brand standards.
The identity and brand system are maintained throughout the design of all marketing collateral, including annual reports.
