As an affiliate of a national organization, Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee adheres to an established brand identity. GSMIDTN’s brand consistency needed to be maintained in the market they serve.
We worked closely with GSMIDTN’s programs and communication teams to create engaging pieces that resonate with the girls that they serve as well as their parents.
Summer Camp Promises Fun!
We worked with the GSMIDTN programs team to create a delightfully fun design that would resonate not only with girls, but also with their parents. The programs director was looking for a whimsical style that would not interfere with readability. We crafted a concept around a bohemian chic style. The design features a common motif found in this decor – the mandala. We created several circular mandala graphics and used them throughout the catalog as accent images. A color system was developed to differentiate the various sections of the catalog for ease of use. This design was then adapted to all other marketing materials for the summer camps – a postcard campaign, billboards and social media. All fonts and colors are on-brand and consistent with style guidelines, but the added textures in the text and graphics make the catalog uniquely 2017 summer camp.
On My Honor
A quarterly publication by GSMIDTN, each issue must feel fresh and different from previous issues but also maintain some consistency. We crafted several spread designs that can be interchanged from issue to issue to add variety but also keep consistency throughout the year.
